Colonix Colon Cleanser Pack Product Review – Day 40

Day 40 of my Colonix colon cleansing review was pretty uneventful. I had a normal trip to the bathroom this morning shortly after waking up, no picture-worthy stools…

Interesting blog. I’m wondering about the composition of those mucoid blobs. A thought occurred to me that they may be mainly coagulated fiber + some normal fecal matter + mucus. I’m not convinced that they represent old loosened fecal matter that has previously adhered to your intestinal walls.

Another thing… mucus can increase in the colon due to various matter being present there. I’m wondering if they’ve discovered & use such matter in their product/s to create that affect.

What are your thoughts?

Thx, D

p.s.: So far what I’ve seen may be caused mainly be the increase in fiber that you’ve been taking. I wonder, if instead of using the Colonix program, you might have achieved the same or similar results (i.e. increase bowel output & frequency), had you simply increased your water intake & took an equal amount of inexpensive fiber. Keep in mind that many people who are chronically constipated don’t have sufficient fluid intake, eat poorly (too much meat, too many refined foods (which lack fiber, and therefore move more slowly through the digestive tract), and have intolerances to certain foods (milk, wheat, corn, etc. — which might be causing immune system over-reactions (i.e. an increase of mucus in the digestive & elimination tract — which is similar to how the nose over reacts to airborne allergens). From what I’ve read, if mucus increases & remains present for too long of a period of time, it can cause mal-absorption of nutrients — which can later create malnutrition symptoms, indigestion symptoms, & IBS like symptoms, etc. Such negative affects gradually slow down fecal transit time through the system and then more negative symptoms begin to occur due to the toxins that are reabsorbed back into the blood in the large intestine.

Thanks a lot for the comment, you make some really interesting points. I guess the only way to really know for certain is to take a stool sample to a lab and have it evaluated to see what the composition is.

You would think that if Dr. Natura was using something in their Colonix program to intentially increase the levels of mucus creation, someone would have called them out on it by now.

It would be great if someone had access to a lab and could do some tests while they’re going through the Colonix treatment.

Very interesting read here. Researched quite a few of these products before selecting Colonix, the best reviewed of all the products.

Your comments regarding the actual analysis of evacuated material were logical and well thought out.

I’m thinking, though, that the pictures I have seen on many sites, including at the top of this post, appear to be physically linked as no other bowel movement I have ever seen or heard of. Wouldn’t these images be indicative of stagnate fecal material built up inside one’s colon and intestines over many years being evacuated?

Also, a fiber and increased water approach, as outlined in the above article, would not actually breakdown built up fecal material, replace good bacteria and cleanse the entire body as Colonix does, would it?

Although, if one wasn’t using a product such as Colonix, the fiber and increased water consumtion would be beneficial to one’s body anyway. What it wouldn’t contain is the careful balance of herbs and other natural ingredients that promote full internal health.

Just my unprofessional and non-medical degreed opinion here.
