Hi, it looks like Colonix is the best colon cleanser but I 'd like to know if I should order the Toxinout program as well and if it's the best out there. For years my endocrinologist put me on high dosages of Premarin (ten times the amount of genetic females take on HRT), after reading how bad it is (made of mares urine and higly toxic) I switched to another doctor who put me on estradiol injections. I thought I might want to get rid of toxins, years of HRT led me to chronic fatigue and depression, I wonder if detoxifying would help since it 's not like I want to decrease my female hormones intake (they make me look like a good ten years younger than genetic females my age, I 'm 40 and men think I 'm 28-30 at the most).

Hello,
I saw the Colonix website and was very skeptical on if I should try this product out. Well, I have ordered it today so it should arrive within 2 days hopefully. I will keep all of you updated. I just want to have more energy and not feel bloated all the time, plus I would like to lose at least 15 pounds. I have seen some positive reviews on this product and I bought the product on the site $88 just because if it does not work you can get a refund. Wish me luck, I work in an office with 30 other women and only one restroom.. Watch out now. lol.

I am on my second week in the colonix toxinout cleanse. I have noticed I feel like I am starving and am eating way too much. Did anyone else have this reaction. I am trying to lose weight for a vacation but I can't seem to control my eating. I was doing great until I started the cleanse . Whats weird is I have lost 6 lbs but I can only imagine how much I could lose If I didn't feel like I was starving all the time!

Ive only been on the Colonix program for 4 days. I feel like crap. The first 2 days I was crapping lettuce... or at least it appeared as left over lettuce. Then yesterday was horrible :-(
What appeared to look like rice was really maggots or worms of some sort. Today there was real nasty stuff. I dont like having to do "the deed" to begin with. I go regularly every morning and I wait to get into the shower each morning till Im busting to go and then Im done for the day..... With Colonix Im going a 3 to 4 times a day and my butt hole feels nasty. Its like I can feel all that nasty stuff sitting there at the bottom of my bowels just dying to get out. And its feels nasty coming out too..... Im not a health freak but I do eat healty in comparison to most typical Americans today. Im 5'4" 135 pounds. Im 20 pounds over weight (by my standards) but am in no way fat. I dont do soda becuase it makes me bloated and burp. I gave up red meat for about 4 months when I went on a diet 12 years ago and when I tried to eat a hamburger after that I had terrible pain when my body tried to digest it.... so I gave up red meat for the most part. My normal diet consists of chicken, fish, shell fish, sushi, seaweed, salads, Vegetable soups, certain vegetables, some bread, all dairy products (Im a cheese monster), cereals, juices, ades and teas..... I really thought that over all my colon would be fairly clean.... I was wrong.... Ive been thinking like the skeptics above and questioning if this product creates this nasty crap thats coming out of my arse ! The website says these parasites live for for approx 2 months and then eventually leave the body up to 6 months after dying. So how come this nasty kind of stuff has never left my body before ?!?! Ive been peeking at my crap for my whole life. Its human nature for one to look at thier dump in the toilet. So Wouldnt you see something like that come out at some point in your life !?!?. I dont know... Im not an expert. My boyfriend and I are bonding as we do this program together ( Hes the one who got me to do it with him). You can imagine the conversation at the dinner table LOL. Im actually losing my appetite and only eating because Im starving.... thats how grossed out I am by whats happening.

Now... Heres is what I really have to say about Colonix..... Nasty Nasty Nasty stuff is going to come out of your arse that you never imagined..... Me... I feel like crap... Im bloated.... I feel sick.... I feel dirty and nasty.....I can feel the nasty stuff in me... just churning in my bowels..... My energy levels are not changing..... I want all this nasty stuff out of me!!!! I want it to stop... but..... Once you start you cant stop

Im really hoping that since this is only my first week that maybe all of this will subside over the next few weeks. I am so afraid of the mucus string and those silver hook worm thingys. Yuck. Ill keep you posted...

P.S. If you havent figured out that Im a little JAPPY yet... now ya know. Its always so refreshing to talk about your anal excretions. Lol

I have read all of the postings here, and I have to say I am still up in the air about buying this product. The web site totally freaked me out about what is inside of me. I am very skeptical about things on the internet. Anyone can type things on here and say they are true. I also looked up using bezonite clay and psyllium for colon cleansing and detoxifing, and it would be a lot cheaper. So any more answers or advice would be greatly appreciated.

As with every holiday, I seemed to eat too much at Christmas and have felt horrible. I got online and read about colonix and 3 days ago thought I would give it a try. I am someone who for years only goes to the bathroom about 2-3 times a week. My husband was sceptical of colonix and thought it was a waste of money...

However, yesterday, day two, I went 3 times and felt great...I even woke up bright and early this morning, which is rare. Last night my husband said, maybe I should try the parasite herbs! Hey, we are making progress here.

I would say to others...try this product, or other products just do something different to increase your health. I am sure other products work as well as I find it hard to believe that colonix has the only secret to cleaning out our colon. But so far, this is a good experience and I appreciate going to the bathroom several times a day.

I DO NOT believe that western doctors have the answer, however. When I went to the doctor this past year to get help with this, I was given pills to mask the symptoms. Also, drug companies have no incentive to prove in herbs work because that is not where the big dollars are.

Laura,

I managed to create a membership on the link you posted above, with some information on mercury amalgam removal and root canal issues.. please see that post on that site. I could also probably give you references to some books and websites for the topic..

Thanks for your kind words, Nancy. It sounds like you've had a full journey with health issues.

I'm interested in knowing more about your removal of amalgams. You might consider opening a discussion on the new colon cleanse forum. There is a place for other topics not directly related to the cleanse but of interest to many of us who face similar dilemmas.

Additionally, it would be a great place to report your reactions to the product. I don't know what it will do for you but I found it helped with my chronic sinus drainage.

Have a great vacation! Laura

Laura,

You have offered balanced, practical and unbiased information for the responders and I also agree that traditional medicine is really and truly a last resort not the first choice. I am 52 and have been through multiple health issues which to be honest started with the pill and candida reaction and moved on to chronic sinus and kidney/bladder infections.

In my (in this respect) misspent youth i was on and off antibiotics for these issues pretty constantly and was finally put on a 'preventitive' or prophylactic dose of antibiotic for the bladder infections. I am pretty certain that overall, candida is a large part of the problem for me, however i also had many 'silver' (re mercury) fillings from childhood on and in the end got to 40 not able to walk up one flight of stairs.

I am my sole support and must make a living so obviously this situation had to be addressed. I have adventured through many many alternative options and have found some to be very effective and some not to. Even if they don't work, it does not mean that the product or solution was unsound, simply that it didn't work for me and my particular combination of issues at that time.

I removed all my mercury fillings and root canals, and after detox showed a vast improvement in overall energy and health. I continue to have chronic sinus problems, so I am open to continuing investigation on more alternative options.

The real cause of chronic problems is usually multi level, and in the end all any of us can do is to eliminate the obvious bad influences like processed foods, drugs, toxic water (yes even in my new and wonderfully aware hometown of Hopewell NJ lurks prior TCE pollution in the public and well water) and yes, mercury fillings, and do our best to cleanse our bodies safely.

I will be taking two weeks vacation at the end of December and intend to start this product then to provide optimal conditions for success (diet, rest, etc).

Thanks again for all your input above...

Marge,

The difference between a colon cleanse product and a colon hydrotherapy treatment is that the first is administered orally and the latter rectally. A hydrotherapy treatment is more extensive than an enema administered at home but often takes a few sessions to get the most benefit. Some people feel better right away, others may have detox effects much like the colon cleanse.

While some on this blog may debunk the products, there are many of us that have seen and felt tangible good results, kind of a kick start for our system.

Yes, eating sensibly and exercising are certainly common sense paths to wellness but it's not always enough. Aside from poor choices in those areas, people often contend with long-term stress and other compromises of their body systems whether genetic predisposition or nutritional deficiencies and/or viral loads.

I've seen many a client in my office suffering the ill-effects of FDA-approved meds that get pulled off the market.

The cleanse isn't the answer for everyone but it has been a boon to many even those who considered themselves healthy. My energy is up and my cholesterol is down. I have no regrets.

I’ve seen many a client in my office suffering the ill-effects of FDA-approved meds that get pulled off the market.

The cleanse isn’t the answer for everyone but it has been a boon to many even those who considered themselves healthy. My energy is up and my cholesterol is down. I have no regrets.

As a preface my girlfriend is pressuring me into buying this product after she watched an infomercial. While I have gone along with buying her an army's worth of laxatives, fiber, and other "poop products" as I have dubbed them this one is giving me pause for a few reasons.

Strike one, the company actually ran an informercial which throughout history have provided anything but valid information.

Strike two, their website has a plethora of sales jargon and hyped up information while not breathing a word of any negative effects which are evident in all unnatural additives to your body. By unnatural I mean a new chemical element which is introduced in large doses or that changes your chemical balance.

Strike three, I have yet to find any research which proves this product does anything more than eating healthy well balanced meals and regular excercise would do.

Strike four, no long term effects could possibly be discovered as it is being distributed without an FDA approval. In the past these rushed-to-market products have had serious negative repercussions.

Call me a skeptic but having always been healthy I believe turning to drugs is never the best solution to your health problems. Your health did not degrade suddenly overnight it took years of abuse, bad habits, and other numerous factors. It will take as many years, if not more, of constant effort to repair the damage.

In conlusion, this looks like another heavily marketed quick fix to a long term problem. Save your money, save your time, save your health, evaluate things you can improve in your daily life.

After the last hour of personal research I will NOT buy this product. You make your own decisions, I'm a programmer not a doctor but I encourage you to think for yourself.

Hi. I spontaneously bought Colonix today on the internet - spent $150. And after reading about the product, frankly i'm worried that it is a total hoax.

But my concern is not primarily if it will be effective in what it claims...it's more that it will do serious or even mild damage to my digestive system. I've dealt with stomach pain after inadvertantly ingesting something harmful. It only lasted a couple weeks but it makes me think about this issue. Anyone hear of lasting negative effects of this product?

I'm taking it because of skin and bloating problems, and a general desire to be healthy and not have harmful parasites in me. But I feel like I'm being driven to purchase something out of fear and shock tactics....like the photos on the dr natura website...!

i'm also really scared about uncomfortable bowel movements. daily life is hard enough without this problem. will i need to go at a moments notice? i have so many questions, but i've spent the money and now i have to decide whether or not to take it (if i do it will be after the holidays).

i feel like i'm making some healthy changes in my life and this might be a good next step, but i'm undecided.

any input is appreciated, including that which i've already read on this site.

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between a colon hydrotherapy treatment versus a colon cleansing program such as colonix. Is one more beneficial than the other? How? If anyone can offer any answers it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

All, I cannot begin to thank you for the feedback on this product. I am very much on the fence with purchasing this due to what I have seen on the website. I am not one that examines my poo on a regular basis, and plan on continuning that moto. I am concerned about starting until after the new year due to me possibly not being able to stay true to this through the holidays. I will be out of town and at people's homes visiting and Ido not want to be in the "can" every night.

I do have a concern about the parasites, even though I knew they have been there for a while. I am not doing this for the weight loss, but strictly doing this to promote good health in my body. I work with a guy who has had constipation problems for a long time and recently was in the hospital having colon issues and now requires surgery to have it removed. I do not want to experience this in the future. I also have a friend that was diagnosed with Diverticulitis and needs to stay away from seeds, corn, nuts, etc. I want to try to avoid that also going forward.

I am currently doing the GNC full body cleasne which is 7 days and I am feeling pretty good. I have the flu-like symptoms that some people mentioned here with the stuff I am taking now, but it is tolerable. For those of you that are curious, ther is a link on the Drnatura website that allows you to e-mail some of the folks that have left testimonials. I sent e-mails to 3 of them and they all responded. They each told me different things about the Colonix (chenging diet, etc...) but they answered my questions truthfully. They are not being paid. I was concerened about being able to drink alchohol with the Colonix and I was told that I should have no problems.

I think I will try the 1 month first and then if things go well move into the 2nd month instead of going all in for 3 months.

last questions I have.

1. Is there any place besides their website that I can buy this Colonix?
2. Did anyone contact their Doctor and ask them if they thought this was the right cleansing program for them prior to starting it?

Thanks again for everyone's feedback. It has been very helpful to me.

I haven't used the toxinout although some of my clients have ordered it and used it. Since this was there first experience with both the Colonix and Toxinout they have no frame of reference but seemed satisfied with the products.

Toxinout wasn't available when we did our initial cleanse. I personally want to try it. I think it's a good idea. I'm particularly interested in the heavy metal detox. I've had exposure to mercury through dental fillings and printing inks - sources I'm aware of. The other products make sense because it's a probiotic and additional nutrients designed to replenish good bacteria and give the body additional support through antioxidants. The bundle of products seem a good value.

The Colonix program doesn't demand major dietary modifications. They do recommend avoiding or minimizing red meats, refined and canned foods, sugar salt, coffee, alcohol, and nicotine while cleansing. That pretty much covers the western diet! These things often contribute to toxicity of the body so avoiding or reducing them would give the body an opportunity to focus on balancing itself and maximize the benefits. They favor adding organic fruits, vegetable, nuts, beans and whole grains.

However, we didn't make any major changes while on the product. We found we craved and used less coffee and sugar and red meat. We drink very limitedly, so I don't know if we can offer a fair assessment from that angle but moderation can often be a good barometer. We experienced obvious results without a lot of changes. I'm not saying that was the wisest choice on our part but I felt it was still worthwhile to do and will do follow-up maintenance. We have continued taking the fiber.

The down side to cleansing is that everyone will vary in detox reactions. Some people report spending more time in the bathroom due to releasing the accumulated build-up from their guts. Others have loose stools. I'm guessing a possible detox effect from die-off of parasites or possibly being sensitve to certain herbs. One friend found the product served her well for about a week or so and then she began feeling emotionally unstable on the regiment and stopped. In consulting with a naturopath, he felt it was too intense for her system so she discontinued it. Many of us have other health issues we bring to the table, so it calls for common sense and reading the body's signals.

Because so many people have gut issues, probiotics are a good support along with enzymes. As we age, take antibiotics, deal with stress, it tends to rob the gut of the good bacteria and needed enzymes to aid digestion.

Several years ago I was treated for H. Pylori, a stomach bacteria and was told I would have to take Prilosec for the rest of my life. I challenged that statement and did research to understand what was going on with the digestive system and what it needed to heal and repair itself. The probiotic and enzyme supplements aided that process. It took time but I'm doing well. I'm not suggesting that that is the full answer but I prefer to explore options to stuffing medicine in my body indefinitely. Don't mask the problem, try and heal it.

Hi,

I have been carefully reading every posting here because for al ong time I have been thinknig about doing some type of colon cleansing, but i'm scared. It is sort of a "if it ain't broke, why fix it" type of thing. Laura, you seem very knowledgable about this topic. Have you ever read any major disadvantages of doing this? The latest posting from Lauren , also raises an interesting point. i'm afraid if i will have ot change my diet/lifestyle if I get started on this program, whether with colonix or any toher one. In fact, choosing the product in itself is an overwhelming experience with so many choices out there and that's how I came across this website/postings. Anyhow, I'd apprecaite anyone's opinion (other than what has already been said) o nthe matter. I also watched those pictures i nthe colonix website and i nfact scared me even more. Not sure if what is going to "come out" of me is in fact supposed to come out, you know? Then, also someone raised the question about "good bacteria". Are these being expelled/killed as well when using this product? Thank you for reading!
