Dr. Natura Colonix Side Effects

For those of you who are thinking about trying this out and are wondering if the Dr. Natura Colonix program has any side effects, let me share my experience. Please keep in mind that I followed the directions to the letter (except I steeped the KleriTea longer than recommended after some trial and error).

Really the only side effect that I experienced was some cramping, usually in the mornings. The cramping wasn’t extreme but it was a little on the uncomfortable side and was alleviated when I went to the bathroom.

If you’ve done a colon cleansing with this product please leave a comment, I would love to hear if you experienced any Dr. Natura Colonix side effects…

Hi, I’m just starting the cleansing program and today is my first day. I just finished drinking the tea and I’m starting to feel sleepy. It’s been great reading your past entries. I’ll be back.

I’m on Day 5 today…also have had the mild cramping, but not a big deal. It’s no worse than the digestive pains I’ve commonly had, and unlike those pains, this cramping actually goes away after a trip to the bathroom.

Starting about Day 3, I began to feel groggy and generally yukky and worn out. At night, I had a headache, but very mild. I figured that meant parasites were dying, and dumping their toxins in my system. (there was something black and rocklike in the toilet on this morning–very weird!) I took a couple of Oil of Oregano pills during the afternoon and evening.

Day 4, after using the toilet in the morning, I felt pretty darn good. I actually felt rather energized, even more than usual. But, my nose just started dripping like crazy *all day*, and by the evening I felt tired and bloated, with swollen glands by bedtime. I accidentally let the tea steep for like 20 minutes the night before, but it really hadn’t created any unusual cramping for me.

Day 5 (today), I woke up with congestion, and a sore throat. My neck also seemed tight. I went back to sleep for a while, then got up to take a shower, and I just felt absolutely beat. After the shower I went to my weekly chiropractic visit, came back and did the pills and fiber, had lunch, and I feel much better now. Even though I let the tea steep for like 10 minutes last night, I didn’t have a bowel movement until after I ate lunch. And after I went, then I understood why I had felt so horrible…there was a lot of new and different “stuff” in the toilet this time. Bunches of white, seed-looking things, that I think were eggs, came out. (I haven’t eaten anything even remotely like that in a long time) Also, there was just this black, slimy, tarlike stuff strung all through the poo. And there were some orange-red, straw-like “sticks in there, too. I haven’t eaten anything like that (tomatoes, vegetable peels, etc) in a long time, either.

So, I think that feeling yukky may be a precursor to eliminating parasites. That’s not really the same as a side-effect of any of the ingredients used…it’s a natural consequence of the cleansing itself, right? Even so, it’s been nothing that a couple of short naps on the “bad” days hasn’t helped.

Hi,
I’ve been doing some “research” on the internet because I’d like to start a Colon cleanse program. I think I’ll be purchasing it next week. I found your entries VERY interesting and encouraging. Thank you.
I’ve been suffering from Hives and everytime I do a mild colon cleanse (fiber system plus) I get some relief for a few days…then the hives just come back…So I’m guessing it could be related to something in my intestines…Doctors have discarded any allergies and all other possibilities in the past 6 years I’ve been having them, so…It’s well worth a try….
As I mentioned before, I’ve read about a lot of Colon cleansers on the net and they don’t convince me as much as Dr. Natura’s. However, I came upon one called “The Ultimate Colon Cleanse” and on its page I compared the ingredients to Dr. Natura’s Colonix and they are EXACTLY the same, they’re even listed in the same order as in the Colonix label. Even the tea has the same ingredients. Would you be willing to take a look at them and let me know your opinion? It’s also a little cheaper, and they offer and extra bottle of Probiotics or something like that. Please let me know or contact me with your advise, as I would like to start with the cleansing as soon as possible. But I’ll be waiting for a response from before purchasing anything else. Thanks and sorry for such a long message.

Angie.

Hi.

I just found this link through google and I wanted to share my experience. I’m on day 15 of my COlonix Cleanse. AND I’ve had this horrible headache since I first started taking it.

For the first five days I was constipated and only had one bowel movement. I was really irritable. My back hurt for some reason. BUT this headache just won’t go away. It;s not like the usual, “pop-two-advil” kind of headache. It’s a “I’m-gonna-lay-down-in-the-dark-for-a-week and skip-work” kind of headache.

I’ve been drinking all of the recommended water. Eating healthier. I’ve followed Dr. Natura’s directions, yet I feel worse than I did before I started the cleanse.

Anyways. I’m gonna bookmark your page, and check back with you, because I’m interested in seeing how your cleanse experience goes. Because I’ve talked to alot of people in forums who had a bad Colonix experience, but no one ever hears about the bad experiences, they only read the good testimonials. (which are probably all fake)

I’ve recently just completed a month of Dr. Natura Cleanse. It works wonderfully. I feel great, my bloating is GONE and I can fit into clothes I couldn’t wear a month ago. My only problem is I wish I could find a play in Canada where I can buy this, as ordering across border is VERY expensive.

I am in my third week of the colonix program, and it seems to be working alright for me, i have been experiencing more bowel movements than before but none of it looks like the pictures on your page, or anything close to that. I also seem to have increased acne on my face after having started this program, I was a little confused about that since I thought that if you’re digestive system is clean then normally acne will not occur, but then again I wasn’t sure if maybe my body is releasing all the toxins and therefore the acne is just a result of that. Other than that, I’ve had minor cramping and hopefully I will get cleaner faster!

I used Colonix for 1 month +. I have felt better. I am doing the 6 to 8 glasses of water almost everyday. I will continue with the water and at the appropriate time I’ll try Colonix again but for 2 months. I’ve had no side effects except only twice when I too steeped the Kleri tea a little too long but that’s no big thing. I would recommend this product!

When you decide to do the Colonix and Toxinout Programs -YOU must decided you are going to ALSO let go of NEGATIVE emotions and feelings. You won’t have success if you harbor anger against others, even if they were the ones who did you wrong. Remember the cliche: “Gut Feeling” - Well that is were you store much of your “Feelings”. I’m on day 41 of the 90 Program and I went through the bloated stage and flu like stage for over a week and acne break outs, well worth what I’ve seen come out. Gray dead worm, small white seed like eggs, old-old poop, lots of poop, feeling lighter and head clearer. SO if you want SUCESS, let go of your negative emotions FIRST.

Hi,
Let me start by telling you I did not believe this product worked OR that I needed it. I’ve always been very regular (3-4 times a day) and never suffer from constipation. However, I had BAD gas, skin rashes, bad breath, trouble sleeping and I was always felt tired. I would not spend the night at my friends’ houses or with boyfriends due to my AM “wake up call”.
I’m on my 5 day break from Colonix (completed 30 days already) right now. During the 1st week, I had bad headaches and all of a sudden had major acne and felt constipated. I think that was my body cleansing itself, maybe I had alot of toxins?? But I immediately slept like a baby with the Kleri Tea and woke up easier.

The 2nd and 3rd week were MUCH better! all my previous problems went away. I started having weird bowels. there would be black rubberband-like stuff within the feces, white seed-like things, some “worms” that reminded me of chop suey and not to mention the FOUL smell of every bowel. I passed many different looking and smelling things, many of them were just like the pictures. I did have one BIG movement after waking up with stomach cramps. The stuff was sooo HEAVY! It was about a foot long and about 2-3 inches wide (it was just like the 3-ft thing on the dr. natura website, but mine was much thicker and not as long) I was so happy that morning!! I immediately felt empty inside and relieved. I had MANY MANY weird things come out of me and looking forward to starting next month. This product does work and the pictures in http://www.drnatura.com are real. I can relate to many of them, my family is doing the treatment as well and we all feel great! Did I mention the weight loss and the flatter tummy? YES! Your tummy will go down significantly! try it! You will not be dissapointed, all you have to lose is weight, toxins, impacted fecal matter and PARASITES.

I’m in the fifth day the colonix/toxin out cleanse. Last night I was “hit” with some extreme intestinal cramping on my lower left side. I could literally feel my large intestines contracting. I haven’t felt anyting like that since I was in labor! This morning I am still experiencing the cramping feeling except it’s not as bad but it is concentrated on a particular spot on my lower left side and seems to be definitely intestinal. Today I also woke up with a lower back ache. I had a large BM which made me feel better.
Has anyone had a similiar experience?

Hi, I am on day 8 of the cleanse. Ok, I admit it I’m pretty frustrated at this point. The first 2 days I followed directions exactly. I had one normal BM and nothing AT ALL the next day. I upped the fiber to the full scoop and steeped the tea for 10-15 minutes….no BM. I upped the fiber to a scoop and a half and still steep the tea for at least 10 minutes. I have not gone in 2 days , this will be the third if i don’t go tonight. Yesterday…I felt so crappy (no pun intended) had a massive headache, bloating, wicked tired, and felt like I could throw up!Is this normal? Am I getting ready for a major elimination or something?

I am on my 5th week of the colonix program. This past week has been terrible, I’ve been experiencing some terrible bloating and stomach gas pains, less bowel movements and indigestion. My first 4 weeks went great, I was using the restroom 2-3 times a day and my stomach felt great and flatter. I have acne rosacea but have not yet seen any changes there. Now for some unnone reason to me I getting a little scared about the uncomfortableness I’ve been feeling, but will continue for another week to see if bloating and pain stop. Hopefully it will.

I currently am on the colonix cleansing kit program, and did see some weird stuffs come out of me, yes I had cramps but not too severely like some other colonic cleanses do, i seen the lining come out of me, worms, parasites, on day 22, this product does work, but being I was down with the severe flu bug, i stayed on a fast from this colonix cleanse. but am back on now, doing well.

Sounds like I am NOT alone!! I am currently on Day 9 of the combined Colonix and Toxinout Program. I have followed all the steps, and can say that I have GAINED 2 pounds since starting, feel bloated and uncomfortable, and am not fitting into my normal clothes. I’m going to continue the effort and see what happens with the bloating etc. I only bought a one-month supply so if the bloating doesn’t stop, I won’t re-order.

One the other hand, I have been more regular than I used to be - 3x-4x per day vs. my old normal of 1x-2x per day. Somehow, that doesn’t make sense with the bloating I am experiencing! It gets to be uncomfortable at the end of the day, but it’s not unmanageable.

I’m on day 10 of the Colonix program. Like most people, I am finding that I am very tired. To the extent I’ve been sleeping in every morning, past my alarm. As for my “inner balance”, I’m amazed to my improvement. I practice yoga, but always had difficultly with the balancing postures. I can stand planted, solid like a rock. My movements are *better, and I can tell that the program is def. working. The only real downside is the change in my temperment. I find that I am extremly irratiable, on edge and emotional…. in short: I’m a real bitch. So, if you start this program, make sure you tell people you are going through a cleanse, and to expect some raw emotions. Honesty, you won’t realise the intensity in your change in mood - but you’re probably acting more agressive than you think.

Kim1010,

Are you drinking enough water? That’s pretty important with the program — and if you take more fiber w/o drinking enough water, you will only get more constipated! (For all fiber supplements in general, not specific to Colonix)

I am really hoping to get good results from this program so I will stcik it out. Not too mention it was not cheap so I want to make sure I do it properly.

Hello Everybody.
My girlfriends has stomac problems for several years. She is just 20 and have difficulties going to toilette.
She had been eating very bad, fastfood and coke staff like that, but i managed to stop her doing this6 month ago. She changed and started a healthier lifestyle drining water eating seeds, and bifidus joghurt started sport. However the number of toilette has not improved too much. There are some periode everything working fine, but than nothing.
She has pain too, destroying her mood all the time. It is terrible. She saw this colonix product on net, and she liked the advertisement. But I don’t want her to start until I can resonabley make sure it is not so damaging for her body.
She is tough, she can take some pain as a sideffect if she sees the end of pain, and some results.
What happens after 1 months? or after finishing a cure period?
Everything goes back to normal? or constipation will come back? She has to keep taking this product?
What happens if she stops the cure?
I guess this is a lot to do with pcycho too.
I am keep reading the blog and experiences here.
Anybody who can advise “after colonix” effect, kindly ask you to drop me a line, or just send a quick email

I too had headaches and some cramping to start. I also had some serious fatigue but there was a HUGE PAYOFF. I call my break through moment “Poopasaurus Rex” It was BIG. It was GREEN. It was SCARY- and it was definely OLD. That thing must have sat in situ in my colon for ages!!! :D
That was a million dollar poo for sure. Since then I’ve always had productive nature calls- and I’m still passing old stuff 2 months into the cleanse- but nothing quite so dramatic. This program works like clock work and I am VERY VERY pleased that I stuck with it for the long haul. I really feel like it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I sh*t you not. :)

Hi:

I have used Dr Natura for 4 years already. I am really happy with the product. It is easy to follow and the energy you get after starting the program is great. I have done other colon cleansing before, which where very intense and time consuming. Some of them involved only liquids and oils for a week, raw diets, and combinations of vegetables, herbs and fruits. I achieve the same results that with Dr Natura Colonix as with those complicated cleansings. About side effect, I don’t have many but I supposed that it might have to do with me eating very healthy. However, sometimes when I don’t drink enough water I get bloated. My friends however said to me that they felt tired when they started the program but after the 5 or 6 day they where all energetic again. Dr Natura Results: Cravings go away, more energy and skin feels softer. Advise, if you are serious about doing the program, follow the instructions, make an effort to eat healthy and commit to it. Don’t just do it half way. The results will not be the same. Good luck!

Hello~
I am very curious about this product. I really need to cleanse, I haven’t felt so horrible in my life and I’m only 25. So I have a few questions for who ever can help me out. I’m really interested in Dr. Natura’s colonix but I want to be sure since it’s so expensive.

When you have a bowel movement, does it hurt to go? because some of those pictures on the website look like it hurt when those came out!! When having a bowel movement, how can something that large and that bumpy come out in one push? What’s the feeling like? Can you eat normally? I mean I know you should eat healthier, but normally? What happens after you finish the cleanse? Do you stay regular?

Can anyone help?
Thanks

I have been using the product for almost two weeks. Had headache 2nd day. Not sure if it was from the product as I have been suffering from headaches. Had an allergy attack also. Nose would not stop running. Not sure if that was the product as I have had those in the past. I lost a pant size in a week. Then I gained 10 lbs of fluid. Was painful and scary. Called the company and they said it was normal if you are not used to drinking so much and that it would normalize once my body adjusted. Everything up to this point is true according to their advertising and photos for me. I lost the fluid as they promised. The help line is fantastic. My skin and eyes are clearer. I hope this is the answer to my prayers as I have been sick for a long time and have had so much testing done with no answers. I ordered 2 more kits, had only ordered one at first just to try. Very expensive from Canada. If it works and I get my life back, it is money well spent.,

For Nancy-

Colonix makes it all fly out with such ease!! It comes out in like 3 seconds and you look and are SHOCKED at how much came out! And no way does any of it hurt AT ALL NO straining! The bumpy looking ones just fly out and you can’t believe it came out of you. I have never had an “accident” or ruch to the bathroom, although it’s like clockwork to go after my morning coffee before work. I usually go 1 more time 5 minutes later, so I have 2 big BM’s every morning 5 minutes apart. I am a female at only 110 lbs so it’s not like I am a huge person that’s “full of it” haha.

I would recommend this product. I took a chance and tried it and have been telling people about it ever since then.

THANKS so much for the info! I think I’m going to try it. My stomach is ALWAYS so bloated making me look like I’m pregnant. And ever since I went vegetarian a year ago weight gain has come so quickly. And talk about gas all the time too!! I feel horrible. I’m going to try it….wish me luck!!

The weight loss is something else that i question is it just like the fluid and old poop? I would think so anyway it sound like something that i really need to do cause like everyone else i have the tummy problems. I just turned 30! and its like all the sudden everything is happening i workout alot and try to eat right and all the sudden i stoped loosing the weight that i use to burn off so quickly and my tummy looks like im 4 months preg. So i just hope that when i do try this it really works for me like it has for all of you. Thanks for putting you comments out for all of us to read and learn from.

I have been on Colonix for almost 2 months now. I followed the instructions except I steeped my tea for longer than recommended.

I’m usually very skeptical about all the products, but I have to admit that Colonix works. I had IBS symptons for years. I had to stop eating many of the foods because everything would cause gas and bloating. I was always constipated. I have to admit that now these the symptoms are gone. My stomach feels just so much flatter and light. It took some time for this to happen though.

I experience some cramps every morning, but not so strong to rush me to the toilet immediately. I am actually happy to have them because they mean to me a good-feeling day afterwards. I didn’t see passing any visible parasites. In my second month, I passed twice the weird shaped, covered by mucus stuff, but I actually believe that colonix created it.

In overall I feel much better; gone bloating and gas are the major reason. I lost 5 lbs last month. I haven’t experienced any other side effects.

I just want to note that going every day is very important to your health and weight. If you don’t, the toxins from the stool are reabsorbed by your body.

I started this program yesterday. No bowl movements yet, but I didn’t expect any this soon. Have had a bad headache tho, and have read this will go away in time. I am looking forward to the results, and will keep you posted as I go. (not daily) Like everyone else, I spent a lot of money on this, and will be disappointed if it does not work.I am 50 years old. I started out 213.5 pounds. My choleserol is 150, BUT my goods are to low, and my bads are to high. I am 5′11, and have always had an uncomfortable feeling around my mid-section. To anyone reading this I will guarantee 1 thing. I will be totally honest with you. I don’t eat breakfast or lunch, maybe a good snack during the day. I rarely eat fast food. But I just can’t seem to shed pounds. I plan on following the program to a T. If you read this, and you find this info helpful, leave a post.

June 11th update. Yesterday was the first time I noticed a change. Many people talk about cramps. Haven’t been a problem. Headaches went away. I felt unbelievably bloated. Yesterday I had a movement like no other. Although it wasn’t comprable to some of the photos you see, it was in 2 sections, each the size of a small soda can. Last night steeped my tea a little longer. Today I had another, (first time in a long time with 2 days in a row.) Not as large in size, but large in qty. Less T. Paper too. Waiting to see the weird stuff come out. But hey, it’s only been 5 days. Tomorrow starts the upped dosage. No difference in my weight as of this morning, but we’ll see tomorrow. So far I would give this program a B.

I mix the fiber with fruit juice, and it is bearable without blending it. The tea ain’t half bad. I kind of look forward to it. At this point I don’t know if I would recommend it or not. Only because I think you could get the same results with fiber con and green tea. BUT, if this is just the beginning of a much more intense cleansing, than it will be worth it. I see Wal Mart has what seems to be a comprable program for less than $30 Maybe month 2 I will try that one and continue. $80 is a lot unless it is life changing. Oh, and I have noticed I don’t feel as uncomfortable around the mid section as I used to. I also seem to have a substantial amount of energy.

The grade just went up to b+. Starting to look like the pictures with out the connectivity. 6 days in, and already worth the money.

Trish said,

Hi, just wanted to put in my two cents in regards to Dr Natura’s Colonix program. For the people who are saying the testimonials are probably fake, they’re not. I actually sent in a few testimonials and mine were published on the site. My pic is up there, too. (Trish from K.C., I have brunette, curly hair).

Anyhow, I did the program for three months as recommended and had good results in the beginning, but in the last month the herbs from the tea were ineffective. When I first started the program I wasn’t having too much luck for about the first three days. I was feeling very constipated and not going at all. But finally on the fourth day I woke up with some serious cramping (labor pains for me!) and went to the bathroom immediately and lost about 5 pounds of fecal matter. It smelled really bad and looked horrible. I never had the plaque come out like some of the pictures, but I did had the same things that many other people described…stringy things, red stick-like things, wormy things, and different colors. My sugar cravings went away and I was definitely craving healthier foods. Yes, you may get sick and or have bad headaches during the first month. Your body is going through a healing crisis. I got very sick the second week. It was explained to me that each time your body unloads a new level of toxic material sometimes you will get sick and have flu-like symptoms. It’s too much for your body to dispose of at once. But that’s okay, you will get better.

Detoxing is not always easy. We spend years putting garbage in our bodies and then expect some miracle herb to get it all out in three days and then feel fantastic. It doesn’t work like that! I know people who have used Colonix and never had their constipation, IBS, or whatever you suffer from return. They just do yearly maintenance to keep up with the results. Unfortunately for me my body stopped responding all together. But I have also buried some pretty deep and angry feelings inside of me (had a pretty rough childhood), so I agree with the person who said you have to let go of emotions if you want lasting results. I now get bi-weekly colonics and have to take a magnesium/oxygen supplement, which basically turns everything to liquid, in order to keep my colon clean. My colon therapist always says the same thing. As long as I hold on to negative feelings grudges my body will never ‘let go’ physically. I’m making progress but it’s a long haul. So, yes, I think it does work for many people, but if you’re like me and struggling with other issues this may only be a stepping stone to getting healthier.

Trish said,

July 7, 2008 @ 11:21 am

Oh, and another thing…I see so many people are buying the product for weight loss. Weight loss should not be the intended goal. It just happens to be a pleasant side effect for some people but should not be expected. That’s not what detoxing and cleansing is about. I didn’t lose any weight while on the program but definitely had positive results for the first two months. Everyone is different so each body responds differently and has different results.

You also have to remember while some people seem to effortlessly lose ten pounds the first week (some people store a lot of toxins in their fat cells, like how women have cellulite, so when those toxins are flushed out so is the fat) others simply are losing weight due to a healthier lifestyle. As I had mentioned previously, I began craving healthy foods again. So of course when you make the switch from McD’s to healthy, home-cooked dinners filled with healthy proteins and lots of veggies, you are bound to shed a few pounds. I was already in good shape before I started the program because I am very physically active.

Okay,
July 09 2008
Started Colonix today. I am a 28 year old male, who tries to stay healthy (as healthy as possible on a low income with unhealthy people around me).

Still, I decided to start as if I was of “average or poor” health in their manual/insert.

So Im on 1/2 scoop of fibre and paranil.

I started 2:00 PM in the afternoon, First day I figure 6 glasses of water will do cause it was late in the day.

About 7:30 PM my nose is expelling a lot of phlegm - was it the Colonix or the beans I had for lunch that were starting to go bad?

I dunno. Im originally from South East Asia - so I figure Im stuffed to the brim with parasites.

Will update, if I remember and if anyone posted showing interest.

Last post. The month is finally over. I hate being on routines, so that is it for me. I can’t speak for everyone on this blog, but my experiencs were mixed. Was I crapping out all fiber? I don’t know, but loads of sh.t came out, all month. I’m glad it’s over, and I will not do another month for another year, but I will do it again.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to cleanse. I give it a b. Very little side effects.

I am 3 weeks into Colonix. The last couple of days especially horrible things have been coming out. Eggs, worms, sacks, mucous….This product seriously works.

The hard part now is inspecting the stool and knowing more is inside of you. I so wish I had had this years ago. Have felt terribly run down for ever so long. Still tired doing this, but I have hope. Wonder what goes on in your body when all the parasites are leaving. This has really been a shocking experience and I have to tell people to do it.

It is not just fiber coming out….spend the money. do it!

I’m on day 9 of the colonix program. Last year I did a different program and felt amazing while doing it. However, I didn’t see the same stuff that’s coming out now! I don’t think it did the same thing as the colonix did. I’m also feeling a lot worse with the colonix then the other. I think because I’m REALLY detoxing now. I’m going through a healing crisis for sure. I feel like my body weighs 1000 pounds. I’m very weak and I’m doing a lot of sweating. I sure hope this pays off! I think it will, I just have to hang in there. I’ve got years of toxins inside of me waiting to get out!!!

I’m just now starting to take some probiotics and some vitamins. That should help my energy levels….hopefully.

By the way…those pics are very real! I’m getting those too. I also did an experiment with the fiber. I left it to sit in a cup over night to see what it would look like….to see if that is what I’m pooping out….well, it’s a different consistency! It’s mixed in with my poop but it’s not that rubbery, mucus-y stuff coming out. I can’t believe how easy it is to eliminate that nasty stuff. It just slides out. Nothing hard about it at all.

I’m going to do the full 90 days……I just hope to gain some energy real soon!!

My God, this stuff sounds intense. I have just ordered some as I was at a naturopath yesterday who suggested sooooo many supplements that I thought she was trying to kill me - not to mention my bank account! Anyway, she claimed I have parasites on my liver which could be affecting my body, causing migraines, which I have suffered for 17 years (I am now 37 years old). I always considered myself a very healthy person. We have home cooked meals everyday - maybe eating out once a week, and even then, it’s usually fish or pasta, or maybe Mexican which I know is fatty so not always an angel. I do gentle cardio daily, and yoga twice a week and weights twice a week and drink loads of water, and I thought I was healthy apart from migraines, though actually I’m not all that regular with bowel movements, but no foul smelling stuff going on down there… I don’t think : ) Anyway, I’m coming back to this site to update about what happens when I start on this Colonix program. I’m a little scared about the prospect of more headaches, but I guess if it’s ultimately going to make me feel healthier then I can put up with it for a while.

I had a high energy level until 5 years ago (I am 43). I woke up one day with no energy, chest pains and could hardly breathe. My ribs were sore and until recently, it hurt to take a deep breath. My story is like several peoples. Seen lots of doctors, had lots of test, spent a ton of $ with no firm diagnosis. I can tell you feeling crappy is a side affect sometimes of detox, and it will go away if you stick with the program. I stumpled on the www site and ordered 90 days of both programs. I am looking forward to more energy and a healed detoxed body! I will write back and let you know how it went! Good luck to everyone!

I am on day 5 of the Colonix program. On day 1, I had a very mild headache within an hour of taking the first dose. Headache went away. No big BMs. On day 2 I had a larger BM but nothing major. The night of day 2 I had a very bad headache. On day 3 was when the magic started happening — much bigger BMs. Day 4 was even better! Day 5 has been going well with that too. I’m feeling good. No more headaches. Tummy bloat is going away. Follow the program just as directions say, but I’m also finding that having some coffee with breakfast pushes things along nicely. Just be sure to drink a lot of water if having caffeine, because caffeine will suck the hydration out of you. You must stay hydrated when using fiber or you WILL get blockage. Many people think that fiber is a laxative. It’s not; it’s a bulking agent. Basically, it combines with fluids in your digestive tract to swell and “brush” your intestinal and colonic walls. When there’s not enough hydration, it just clogs up like cement. So don’t try to skimp on drinking all the water! It’s for a reason.

When I first researched the Dr. Nutra products I seem to recall a site where people posted pictures of the stuff they passed in their stool. One picture in particular was of red, straw like things. I’m passing something like that and would like to see if anyone can tell me what these things are! I’m thinking maybe dead liver flukes?? Would someone please direct me to the site where the pictures are posted? Thanks!
